The Dog Stay Report
Stayed Sep 1, 2026 with Brasco · First-party observed.
- Arrival
- Arrival was seamless. They actually called us 15 minutes before 5 PM to see if we were going to arrive after 5 PM, when the office was closing, and to give us instructions on how to access the cabin after hours. We were going to arrive five minutes after that, so she was able to walk us through what we needed to do to get into the cabin. She gave us a map, explained how to access the Wi-Fi, and showed us how to use the washer and dryer. It was a very seamless, nice process.
- Room access
- Exterior door — Keys are available through a lockbox with a key code. They made getting in and out easy, with no problems.
- Flooring
- Hard floor
- Room setup
- The room was really clean, with hardwood floors and a stocked kitchen. The bathroom had heated floors. There was an upstairs loft with two bedrooms, a living room with a TV, and access to a washer and dryer.
- Outdoor access
- There was a little patio with a couple of chairs and a gas-powered fire pit. The patios faced the other cabins, which gave it a very community-like vibe. There were little grass areas right in front of the cabins for potty breaks, so we didn’t have to travel far with Brasco. The evening and early-morning lighting was adequate and bright, so if there were any critters around, I would be able to see them.

- What worked
- Overall, great experience. The cabin was clean, as was the campground surrounding it. Great vibe and a great stay!
- What didn’t
- One privacy blind did not work.
- Biggest surprise
- How nice the cabin was. It felt like a very high-end stay. The heated bathroom floors were a perk on a chilly evening and morning. The included washer and dryer were great too!
- Observable behavior
- Brasco was a little nervous at first, but settled in pretty quickly playing with his toys. He slept most of the night, but gently got me up with sweet little licks to let me know he needed to go potty.
